Assassin's Creed Valhalla director confirmed to be leading Dead Space remake - shepherdcousemen

It's been official that Eric Baptizat—formerly manager of Assassin's Creed Valhalla—is ahead the team as game director on the Dead Space remake at EA Motivating.

That's according to Video Games Chronicle who first reported that Baptizat confirmed as such on his LinkedIn pageboy. It first came to light that Baptizat had departed Ubisoft for EA Motive back in June, before the Inanimate Space remake was formally announced. While it was identical much expected he'd be joining the Dead Space team up, it's gracious to have it confirmed and in what capacity he'll be on the project.

Baptizat worked at Ubisoft for sixteen years on several Assassin's Creed titles prior to becoming Game Director on Assassin's Creed Valhalla. He was also Lead Game Designer on Assassin's Creed Origins and also worked on Assassinator's Creed Unity and Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag.
